NBA U.S. Basketball Rules and Terminology Cleanup

 

NBA Professional Basketball Association (NBA)

The NBA stands for the National Basketball Association and is the National Basketball Association.

A total of 30 teams will play 82 regular-season games after the 먹튀폴리스

NBA Terminology Organization 1

● Shoot = a play that throws a ball into the basketball post

● Pass = Play to deliver the ball to your teammate

● Dribble = a ball-carrying play

● Rebound = The ball does not go into the net and takes up the ball that hits the ring or backboard

● Assist = Pass to a teammate to finish the goal (Help)

● Blocking = getting the ball out of the opponent

● Steel = a play that takes the ball away from the opponent

● Opence = refers to the attacking players or attacks

● Defense = Refers to defensive players or defense

● Turnover = Mistake, Mistake

● Free throw = Shoot on opponent’s foul free throw line (1 point)

2 chances for fouls inside the 3-point line / 3 chances for outside

● Basket count (and one play) = extra free throw due to opponent’s foul when shot and goal

● Rim / Backboard = Backboard behind goalpost and goalpost

● Garbage time = Time remaining when the game is decided to some extent

● No-look pass = pass without seeing the other person sending the pass

● Double post = 2 tall players attack under the basket

● Drive-in = A layup shot that penetrates the opponent with a dribble and succeeds

● Looseball = ball that does not belong to either team in a chaotic situation

● Backcourt = a play that turns to his court to defend after an attack

● Small Lineup = A line-up of guard forwards without a big man (usually center)

● Switch = Swapping each other’s defensive opponents

● Screen = Big Man blocks his defense with his body

● Out number = Number of people in the offensives is higher than the

number of people in the defense, so it is a numerical advantage

● Out of Bound = Side line, and line / When the ball touches the floor outside the court,

or when the ball touches the boundary or the person or thing outside the court

● AliPLAY = A shot that takes a teammate’s pass in the air and shoots right away

● Entry pass = First pass at the start of the attack

● In your face dunk = Dunk shot with the opponent’s defense in front of you

● Jumper = Jump Shoot

● Cut in = Attack that digs under the court to avoid defense

● Cost-to-Cost = If the player who catches the rebound after the opponent’s attack fails and succeeds in scoring a layup goal

● Clutch situation = moment when scoring is required

● Kick-out pass = Pass to an outside player who has a chance on the inside

● Pump Fake = the action of deceiving an opponent who pretends to shoot a shot

● Face up = Under-the-goal play that looks at the opponent and goes in

● Post-up = Under-the-goal play that hits the opponent’s back

● Pivot play = Travelling occurs when an attacker moves his or her foot, which is the

play axis that changes the direction of the body, without taking off the foot as the axis, or if it is a goal.

● High post = near the free draw line due to the opposite of the low post

● Double-double = 2 of the 5 attack stats (scoring, assist, rebound, steel, block) are double-digit

● Triple-double = 3 of the 5 attack stats (scoring, assist, rebound, steel, block) are double-digit

● Quadruple = Four of the five attack stats (scoring, assist, rebound, steel, block) are double digits

● Three-Fit = Three-Fit, winning three consecutive finals

● Big Man = Team’s high players

● Point guard = position where tactics are dropped in the court and attack coordinated through the pass

● Shooting Guard = Versatile position to help your team deploy the main attack and attack

● Small Forward = Team’s main offense and position, including rebound and defense

● Power forward = Bad positions such as rebounding, goal, and offense and defense of the team

● Center = Team’s rim protector, position for under-the-goal attack rebound

● Dual Guard = Competitors capable of simultaneously playing point guard and shooting guard

● Point forward = forward position but good at passing and attacking

● Twinner = a dim player who is hard to trust either side

● 3 & D = 3 point shooter and key defender in defense

● Slasher = player who can stir the opponent’s defense with flashy dribbling
